Dagashi Shop Miniature Paper Model - by Retro Machine Club

This papercraft of a candy shop known in Japan as Dagashi is offered by Japanese website Retro Machine Club.

There you will find the paper model of the store and another model of the store's interior, but the two are not to the same scale and do not look like they were made to match.

What I did was combine the two models, leaving them on the same scale and I also made changes to the building, as it was very low and this would make it difficult to see the inside of the shop.

I opened the front of the building, leaving the characteristic sliding doors on the sides and also changed the external textures, using material from other models offered on the website itself.

I included more posters and a door at the back of the building. Another thing I did was to separately highlight the nice lady who seems to be the owner of the establishment, as in the original papercraft she was just printed in the background of the scene.

Finally, I used more textures from the model itself to emulate the cards of sweets and toys that usually hang in front of the Dagashis.

I gathered everything on a single sheet of paper, so you can imagine that the model, once assembled, will be very small, suitable for decorating your work desk or bookshelf.

In addition to the link to this model, I will also leave the link to Retro Machine Club website so that you can download the original versions and many other papercrafts there.

Japanese stores known as Dagashi are popular for selling a wide variety of traditional Japanese sweets and snacks at affordable prices.

The word "dagashi" means "cheap sweets" in Japanese, and these stores were popular among children in Japan from the 1950s to the late 80s.

Dagashi stores offer a wide variety of sweets, snacks, chewing gum, and drinks, many of which are unique to Japan or difficult to find elsewhere.

They are often sold in small, colorful and attractive packaging, often with anime or manga characters on the packaging.

The prices of dagashi products are generally very low, with many items costing only a few yen. Because of this, dagashi stores have become known as a fun and affordable place for children to buy sweets with their pocket money.

Although dagashi stores have been less popular in recent decades, they continue to be an icon of Japanese sweets and snacks culture and an important part of many Japanese childhoods.

Some establishments still exist, and many dagashi sweets and snacks can also be found in supermarkets and convenience stores throughout Japan.

Mogeko Castle - Mistery Train Stand Paper Model - by Papermau
Download Now!

I created this stand for mini figures using textures that I took from an indie game called Mogeko Castle.

The textures are from a train carriage that appears at the beginning of the game, when the protagonist, Yonaka Kurai, uses it to return home, but ends up being taken to a castle that gives the game its name.

Mogeko Castle is an independent game created by a developer known as Deep-Sea Prisoner that was first released as a game made in RPG Maker 2000 on April 1, 2012. A remake was released in RPG Maker VX Ace on March 5 2014.

Mogeko Castle tells the story of a high school student on a train ride home. However, she ends up at an unknown train station that takes her to an unknown castle. Not knowing what awaits her, she tries to find her way back home.

The model is in pop-up style, very simple to assemble. Just cut along the light blue lines and fold along the yellow lines.

Like the image shown below, you can combine two or three templates and assemble the interior of a complete train car to display or take photos of your figures.

I believe this stand could be useful for mini figures and as suggested in the image above, you can combine two or three templates and assemble the interior of a complete wagon to display or take photos of your figures.

If you liked it, know that the download is easy and safe, directly from Google Drive. Have fun.

Boa montagem.

Rotating Station With Sea View Playset Diorama Paper Model
by Gazoo

"Gazoo Papercraft, known for its car papercrafts, has created this diorama that can be used to display your model cars.

The concept this time is “Have fun at the rotating station with a view of the sea!”

The rotating station is a place where people for various purposes come and go, including passengers getting on and off trains, people waiting for buses, students, tourists, local shoppers, etc.

There are many things happening at the station roundabout, such as cars entering and leaving, people meeting again after a long time, sad goodbyes and people's joy at a new destination.

In this papercraft we express a picture of this drama. The station was designed to look like a rural station with a sea view.

The scale of the diorama is approximately 1/32 and was created to match the cars that can be created with GAZOO papercrafts.

In addition to the cars in the photo, you can decorate the space with your favorite cars, or place several cars such as the bZ4X, Sienta, Land Cruiser and others, to create a different environment each time.

The fun part is seeing all kinds of people gathered around this roundabout, like tourists picking out souvenirs, cats hunting for seafood, and photographers holding cameras." - Gazoo

When you visit the link below, scroll to the bottom of the page to find many more exclusive papercrafts from Gazoo.

- Gazoo

The Ephemeral Museum - Batcave Playset Diorama Paper Model
Assembled by Bill Thompson

A few days ago I published (or rather, republished, as the original link had expired) here on the blog a diorama/playset of the Batcave, the version that appeared in the 1966 Batman television series, created by British designer Philip Lawrence, from Action Figure Theater website.

I received some emails saying that instructions or assembly tips would be welcome, as the parts are not numbered and there is no type of guidance other than a 3D image.

Well, I found this model of the Batcave put together by an American modeler called Bill Thompson and as you can see, he did an incredible job, didn't he?

From this photo I believe that friends interested in assembling their own Batcave will have fewer difficulties, as it is very clear where the various pieces designed by Mr. Lawrence go. The link to download the Batcave will be below, at the end of this post.

Now, about Bill, who assembled the Batcave in the photo, he is not just a model maker. Bill is, in his own words, a "computer professional, motorcycle enthusiast, website designer, amateur magician and mad scientist."

He has a really nice website called Weird Fantastic Toys Adventures (print screen below), which, also in his words, "is a diary chronicling the adventures of my toys and anything else that might be on my mind. If you love toys, cartoons, comics, movies, TV shows, pop culture, and Gen X nostalgia from the '70s and '80s, then this is the place for you!"

Bill's website is well worth a visit. You will even find some exclusive papercrafts created by him there. The link is also below.

About the Ephemeral Museum:

I "am in the paper modeling" since 2005, although I've had contact with paper models from my childhood in the 1970s, via magazines that were sold sporadically in newsagents

I remember magazines with houses to build and dioramas/playsets of airports, western forts, nativity scenes and the like.

With the advent of the internet what happened was simply a revival of the papercraft hobby for me and many other people of my generation.

Today I am opening a new session here on the blog, the Ephemeral Museum , which is a place where I will show some of the models that I built all these years.

I would also like this to be a space where all modelers friends could show their work, so if anyone wants to participate in this "museum", just send photos of your work and a few words, if you want, to the e-mail:

mautherous@gmail.com

All who submit their work will be published, without exceptions.
